Ghani is the process of mechanically separating oil by only pressing and crushing the oil seeds in a wooden mortar and pestle.

Cold pressed oil concept was first invented by the Ancient Rishis of India to extract oil from various oil seeds by using a wooden churner (Ghani). In ancient times the wooden ‘ghani’s’ were driven by bullocks. In modern days the wooden ghani remains the same, but the bullocks are replaced by electric motor.

We at Ramkrishna Oil mills do not use any heat or chemicals for the oil extraction process using Wooden Churner (Ghani).
